Privacy Policy

Effective date: September 29, 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how ABL ("ABL", "we", "us") collects, uses and shares information when you use iamabl.com and our related apps and services (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to this policy. If you have questions, contact us at hello@iamabl.com.

Information we collect

Information you provide. We collect information you give us when you create an account or use the Service. That includes your name, email address and profile details; information about your background, goals, skills, experience and preferences; documents you upload, such as a resume; and your messages, answers and other content you submit.

Information we generate. To personalize the Service, we create information about you from what you provide and how you use the Service, such as estimates of your skills, learning plans, progress and recommendations.

Information collected automatically. When you use the Service, we and our service providers automatically collect information such as your IP address, browser and device type, pages and features you use, the time and duration of your visits, and similar usage data. We use cookies and similar technologies to do this (see "Cookies" below), and we may use analytics tools, including tools that record how you interact with pages.

Information from third parties. If you sign in with a third-party account such as Google, we receive information from that account, such as your name, email address and profile picture.

How we use information

We use information to:

AI features

The Service uses artificial intelligence, including models provided by third-party AI service providers. When you use AI features, the information needed to respond, such as your messages, uploaded documents and relevant account information, is processed by those providers on our behalf. We don't sell your content, and we don't give it to other companies to train their AI models.

AI features may produce recommendations, such as skill estimates or learning plans. They're meant to help you learn. They don't make legal or similarly significant decisions about you, and you can review and change them.

How we share information

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. We may share information:

Signing in with Google

If you sign in with Google, we use the information Google shares with us (your name, email address and profile picture) to create and secure your account. We don't use Google user data for advertising or sell it.

Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in, remember your preferences, secure the Service and understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but some parts of the Service may not work without them. We don't use cookies for third-party advertising. We don't currently respond to browser "Do Not Track" signals in a uniform way, though some of our tools may honor them.

Data retention

We keep information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and afterwards as needed for legitimate business purposes, such as complying with legal obligations, resolving disputes and enforcing our agreements. When information is no longer needed, we delete or de-identify it.

Your choices and rights

You can view, update and delete much of your information in the Service, on the What ABL knows about me page. You can also contact us at hello@iamabl.com to request access to, correction of or deletion of your personal information, or to exercise other rights you may have under the laws where you live. We'll verify your request before acting on it, and we won't discriminate against you for making one.

If you're in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom or Switzerland, we process your information to provide the Service to you, for our legitimate interests in operating and improving it, to comply with the law, or with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time. You may have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to our use of your information, to data portability, and to complain to your local data protection authority.

International transfers

We're based in the United States, and we and our service providers may process information in the United States and other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for these transfers.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we can't guarantee absolute security.

Children

The Service is intended for people 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we'll delete it.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll post the updated version with a new effective date, and if the changes are material, we'll notify you through the Service or by email.
