Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") are an agreement between you and ABL ("ABL", "we", "us") and govern your use of iamabl.com and our related apps and services (the "Service"). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and able to form a binding contract to use the Service. If you use the Service on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have authority to bind it to these Terms.

2. Your account

You're responsible for your account, for keeping your sign-in credentials secure, and for all activity under your account. Provide accurate information and tell us promptly at hello@iamabl.com about any unauthorized use.

3. The Service

ABL is a learning service that uses artificial intelligence to help you set goals, learn and grow. We're continually developing it, and we may add, change, suspend or discontinue any part of it at any time. Some features may be offered as previews or betas, and may be unavailable, change or be removed.

4. AI and no guarantees

The Service uses artificial intelligence. AI-generated content, including explanations, assessments, plans and information about careers, roles or employers, may be inaccurate, incomplete or out of date. You're responsible for evaluating it and for your own decisions.

The Service is for educational and informational purposes. It isn't professional advice of any kind, including career, legal, financial or medical advice. We don't guarantee any outcome, including that you'll learn a particular skill, pass an interview or assessment, or obtain a job, promotion or income.

5. Your content

"Your content" means anything you submit to the Service, such as information about yourself, documents you upload and your messages.

You keep ownership of your content. You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, host, store, reproduce, modify, process and transmit your content, including through our service providers, to operate, provide, secure, improve and develop the Service. This license continues for as long as we hold your content.

You represent that you have the rights needed to submit your content and that it doesn't violate these Terms or any law. As between you and us, you own the output the Service generates for you, to the extent permitted by law. Output may not be unique, and others may receive similar output.

7. Our intellectual property

The Service and its content, features and branding are owned by ABL and our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the Service. If you send us feedback, we may use it without any obligation to you.

8. Fees and subscriptions

Some features may require payment now or in the future. If you purchase a paid plan, we'll show you the price, billing period and renewal terms before you buy. Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel at any time in your account settings, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You authorize us and our payment processor to charge your payment method for the plan you choose, plus applicable taxes. We may change prices with advance notice. Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable.

9. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll post the updated Terms with a new effective date, and if the changes are material, we'll notify you through the Service or by email. By continuing to use the Service after changes take effect, you accept the updated Terms.

10. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time, including if you violate these Terms. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive, including sections 4, 5, 7, 10, 11 and 12.

11. Disclaimers and limitation of liability

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE," WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, ACCURACY AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. WE DON'T WARRANT THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE OR ERROR-FREE.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, ABL WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, DATA, OPPORTUNITIES OR GOODWILL, ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SERVICE. OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATING TO THE SERVICE WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE CLAIM AROSE OR $100. SOME JURISDICTIONS DON'T ALLOW THESE LIMITATIONS, SO THEY MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

You agree to indemnify and hold ABL harmless from claims arising out of your content or your violation of these Terms.

12. Disputes

If you have a concern or dispute about the Service, please contact us first at hello@iamabl.com so we can try to resolve it informally. Nothing in these Terms limits rights you have under the consumer protection laws that apply to you.

13. General

These Terms and our Privacy Policy are the entire agreement between you and ABL about the Service. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remain in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision isn't a waiver. You may not assign these Terms without our consent; we may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition or sale of assets. We aren't liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control.
